November 30

Hooray!
It's Friday!!
It's been an exciting week for us at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, lots of things in the works *wink*
One thing I can share is that we now have our very own company gallery at
Splitcoaststampers!!!
We would love to have you share your CAS-ual Fridays Stamps creations there, just use
keyword CFS and it will land in our gallery!
It's as simple as that :)

I found this little gem there from Girl Friday Lynn using Merry Kiss-mas...

It's just plain fun!!!
The washi tape, the button tied on with twine, the sweet little blingy holly berries...they all add up to fun!
If you haven't visited our store in a few days, be sure to stop by.
We've done a little upgrade and each set now has a few featured projects to provide a little inspiration for you :)
Oh! I almost forgot...this darling tag would be an excellent fit with our new challenge!

November 22

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm so thankful for each and everyone of you, so I've prepared a special post.
I hope you're ready for
my fun announcement about how we'll be doing Black Friday
here at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps,
and an awesome tutorial from Girl Friday Dana!!

Let's talk about Black Friday, shall we?
If you saw yesterday's post, you know I'm not a fan of Black Friday.
However...
I have come up with a plan that allows me to still bask in the happiness of feeling thankful,
and gives you all the chance at a wonderful deal,
without leaving out anyone who's shopped in the past few days,
and I can conquer Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday all at once!
Ready?
All orders placed from the time of our November release though Cyber Monday,
(that's November 16th through November 26th)
will receive a special free shipping code to be used on your next order.
AND...
just to add a little more fun...
each of those orders will be entered in a special random drawing to receive the entire January release for free!!

Well that sounds like fun!
But before you run off to the store,
do you remember this uber awesome card from Girl Friday Dana using Countdown?

I received so many awesome comments on this card, so I asked her if she might be willing to do a tutorial.
It took her about 7 seconds to reply YES, and within an hour she had emailed this super cool tutorial.
'Cuz she's awesome like that *wink*

Without further ado, Dana's Champagne Bottle Tutorial!

How fun, right?!
I can't wait to try it myself.

But first I have a turkey to cook :)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

November Sneak Peek Week Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
November
Sneak Peek Week!

I hope you've been having fun with us this week.
So far we've had sets that will for sure get you into the holiday spirit, and tonight is no exception.
I really like New Year's Eve.
I prefer staying close to home so we can have fabulous food all evening long as we wait for the big ball to drop at midnight.  There is something magical about that moment in time when one year ends, and another begins at the same time.
I don't, however, like resolutions very much.
I'm very good at making New Year's resolutions,
but terrible at keeping them, so last year my resolution was to not make any more resolutions!
Finally, a resolution I can keep! LOL!

Today we have a super cool little set that will help you celebrate that magical moment.
That's right, we have a New Year's set that is fun and spunky, and versatile enough to use all year long!

Introducing...
Countdown

I just love how Beate has paired the fun background strip with the text border!
Love how she curved them to get that fun wave effect.
The little silver gems add such a fun party element to this card.
I am so glad to have had Beate join us this week!
She has such a wonderful style, and it's been a LOT of fun seeing her creations :)

My chin still hurts from hitting the floor when I saw this spectacular creation from Dana!
She stamped several of the phrases, and fun decorative stamps, and then cut out a champagne bottle shape!!
Genius!

Kimberly had a blast using one of the background strips. I love that she added the little pattern bead in a few places to add color and texture to her pattern. What a fun panel!!

Gayatri made me smile all over my face with this one!
Who knew that stamping the sentiment repeatedly and changing the color once could look so amazing?
Gayatri did, that's for sure! :)

Angie has a really playful card here :) How clever she was to stamp the sentiments onto her thought bubble patterned paper! Such a fun card! But wait, she has more...

I love the sentiment peeking out of her die cut letters! So texty!!!

And this one is just perfect to finish up the inspiration parade tonight.
Her die cut numbers look awesome above her panel that features the fun background strip, and the Happy New Year sentiment.
Fabulous!

Does anyone else feel the need to get inky right about now???
Man oh man, these ladies really knocked this set out of the park :)
One of you lucky ducks is going to win this set!
Because every single comment means the world to me,
I'll be giving away a set from each sneak peek day
to a random comment.

reveal the sets.

At 12:01 am eastern on Friday,

Yay!!
I'm so excited!!

November Sneak Peek Week Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
November
 Sneak Peek Week!!

Are you beginning to get into the holiday spirit?
I grew up in Southern California where we typically wore shorts on Christmas Day,
and only dreamed about a white Christmas.
When we moved to Colorado 5 years ago, I crossed my fingers, and my toes, that maybe...just maybe I'd finally get a white Christmas.
Our very first Christmas in Colorado it snowed on Christmas Day! A LOT!!
Seriously!!
It was awesome, and everything I'd ever dreamed it would be, and I was sure it was just for me :)
So I couldn't create my first ever holiday collection and not have a snowflake set!

Introducing...
Snowflake Greetings!

Beate has created a winter wonderland using several of the snowflakes in the set, and a gorgeous embellishment.
I love how she sponged the color onto the cardstock and then stamped the flakes.
Don't you just love that sentiment??

Deb November sneak
Deb has created a really fun and contemporary card using one of the flakes and a great little circle sentiment.  I just love the splatter and washi tape she added!

Lynn
I just love this one from Lynn
The colors, the pretty pattern paper and the bling all make me smile :)

Lynn
I love the way Lynn has scattered the flakes about, and the buttons add so much style!
Look how perfectly they fit on the flakes :)
What a fun card!

Debby Hughes 13 Nov
This is sooo much fun! I just love how Debby has stacked the snowy sentiments!
Her scattered rhinestones add a frosty feel :)
Completely awesome!

Piali
Ho Ho Ho! Loving the way Piali repeated the sentiment.
The added bling really makes this fun card sparkle!!
Pure delight!

Piali
Oh my! Don't you just love the gorgeous snowy pattern Piali created?!
Are you starting to picture all the fun you can have with this set too?

So what do you think??
Did Beate and the Girl Fridays rock this set or what?
One of you lucky ducks is going to win this set!
Because every single comment means the world to me,
I'll be giving away a set from each sneak peek day

I've got a fun and spunky Christmas set for you today.
It's light and airy and full of cheer.
Introducing...
Merry Kiss-mas

Beate has a darling assortment of yummy presents lined up here.
Simply stamping on fun patterned papers added with simple paper piecing, creates fabulous presents! Super cute!

Oh by gosh by golly, this card is adorable!!  Who doesn't love mistletoe?!

Lorena-merrykissmas
Lorena has created a wonderful wreath using a circle sentiment and her paper punches.
Fabulous idea! I love the little holly she stamped at the top too!

merry kiss-mas (Virginia)

Look at how clever Virginia is!  She inked up her sentiment in a fun way, and look at how great that word border looks with a bit of motion to it! Awesome!

HollyDays-Christina
Christina has a fun row of packages! Love the special holly embellishment on her red present.
Happy Holly-days indeed!

Lisa
How gorgeous is this? Love the simplicity of Girl Fridays Lisa's creation, and the kraft cardstock looks amazing!

Lisa
I just adore this wreath that Lisa created using the simple holly stamp! Wow Wow wow!!!

November Sneak Peek Week- Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
November
 Sneak Peek Week!!

I'm so glad you're here to join the party!
We have 4 fantastic holiday sets debuting this week,
and we'll be showing you inspiration from a new one each day.
They are all 4 x 6 and packed with fun!

Joining us each day this week is a very special guest.
I'm just thrilled to bits to have her with us!
Many of you know and love her from Splitcoaststampers.
Please join me in a noisy woot woot for
Beate Johns!!!

Since Hanukkah comes early this year,
the first set we'll show you is
8 Happy Nights

Beate has created a scrumptious card!
The bit of twine tied onto the dreidel is awesome, and how about that texty background!

Oh my goodness! Beate is making me swoon with her perfectly placed accents!
Look at the little stars stamped onto the texty background, and the button tied onto the large star!

Laurie is so clever, she used the little mini stars as candle-light.
Such a fun and happy touch!

Lynn also created her own texty background with the fun dreidel text.
I love her scatter of dreidels! They look like they are happily spinning on her card :)

I carefully inked up all the "happys" with different color inks for a fun, and festive menorah.
That little strip of sparkle is actually glitter ribbon trimmed to size!
So easy and fun!

Piali used sparkly strips too! I just love the wonderful border she created for the clean, graphic sentiment.  Nothing says celebration quite like a little bling ;)

Karen has created a really pretty, and wonderful pattern panel using the dreidel and various stars.
Just gorgeous!

Lisa created fabulous dreidels by paper piecing them! I just love all the happy colors!
Just love this to pieces!
**edited to say: while it looks like paper piecing, she actually used Primo sculpey clay!
Check out her blog post to see how she created this card!

So what do you think so far?
Did Beate and the Girl Fridays rock this first set, or what?!
The fun is just starting!
One of you lucky ducks is going to win this set!

November 3

Happy Saturday!
Today I have a special surprise for you!!!
I get to show you 3 amazing cards...
Two from our fabulous Girl Friday Piali,
AND
one from a very special, super secret guest...
Surprise!!!
It's the uber talented Paper Crafts Go to Gal, Kim Kesti!!

I'm so excited to have Kim getting inky with us tonight!
Check out this stunner she created, using WTF.
I adore the happy little banner and the sweet colors.
Inside the card she also used the
happy belated birthday sentiment :)

Next up is this super cool and oh so graphic card from Piali using Big Thanks!
That little border just looks awesome stamped in all the colors,
and I love how she only inked up a portion of the sentiment to get a different look.
Nov 3 Piali#3

Prepare to swoon!
I just love the splattered mist and cool pattern papers that help set off the
2 simple sentiments from Woot Woot.
Nov 3 Piali#1

Wowzers, that was so fun to share those!
WTF, Big Thanks and Woot Woot are all available in the store :)

I'll be back tomorrow with more eye candy for you.
